Who are we?
Activity
Set up in 1999, Neo Telecoms was formerly the French subsidiary of MFN/Abovenet Corp., a worldwide Tier One IP operator.

Neo Telecoms's aim is to develop its existing products, enriching them with new solutions of communication, adjusted around the IP, Hosting Services and Connectivity Services.

The Group have one of the most effective Internet infrastructure of the actual market, deployed around the following services:
  • IP transit:
Neo Telecoms is the European reseller (with the exception of the United Kingdom and of Benelux) of Abovenet’s IP transit (AS 6461). Abovenet’s high-quality IP is recognized worldwide. Fully designed to provide IP bandwidth and fully redundant, Abovenet’s network offers an over 250 Gbps capacity and more than 1500 peering sessions established with 560 operators worldwide,

  • Hosting services:
With 3 datacenters based in three different ISO certified carrier hotels in the Paris area, Neo Telecoms provides dedicated hosting services to its customers, offering independent racks or private rooms. Each datacenter is secured by a redundant infrastructure (Power chain, UPS, Climate control, Fire detection and suppression, multi-operator presence, separate fiber entrances). The three sites, located in Courbevoie, Aubervilliers and Clichy, are interconnected through Neo Telecoms' optical fiber network. They also are fully accessible on a 24/7 basis for remote maintenance and facilities access. For customers requiring international hosting, Neo telecoms can also provide through its subsidiaries identical services in Frankfurt (Germany) or Vienna (Austria).

  • Managed Services:
Neo also provides value added services based on proprietary equipment and managed by the Neo Telecoms engineering team. Such services include: remote backup, using state of the art Disk To Disk To Tape systems, or Video streaming and Rich media platform.

  • European Network (Paris - London - Frankfurt – Amsterdam - Wien):
Providing Layer 2 Ethernet private circuits between 6 cities, this 32 Gbps capacity network has been specifically designed for customers like ISPs or large businesses with a need for direct access to the main European peering points (Linx, AmsIx, DeCix, Sfinx, XPE, FreeIx, ...). Based on a ring topology, this network can provide protected layer 2 circuits, supporting VLan encapsulation.

At the same time, Neo Telecoms has built, in Paris and its close suburbia, a more than 100-kilometer long dark fiber metropolitan network. This network comprises six interconnected loops, each one with a minimum capacity of 432 fibers. Allowing the interconnection of remote sites of companies, looking to having their own secured communications infrastructure with the great benefit of enabling them to transfer any type of data in a secure mode since the customer activate the fiber, considering of its own specific needs. Another advantage is that, through the allocation of pairs of fibers over several years, the client can master and control its telecommunications costs.

This metropolitan network also interconnects the 10 main neutral hosting centers (Carrier Hotels) of the Paris area (Telehouse 1 et 2, Globalswitch, Redbus, LDCom, Telecity, Interxion 1 & 2, Le Capitole, IX Europe) to offer IP connectivity services or site to site connection services (Interlan) thus granting access, from each site, to almost every telecommunications operators on the French market.

Complementary services enable Neo Telecoms to be the only contact for many clients' projects. These complementary services include a guaranteed-flow SDSL collection service (available on all around French territory) and satellite IP access solutions (simple or shared) over France and Europe for zones not covered by the SDSL service.

Advanced services marketed by integrator partners but implemented, hosted and exploited by Neo Telecoms are also available such as:
  • Remote Backup on a high-level availability platform of several tetra-bites, compatible with almost all operating systems available on the market

  • Streaming video and Rich media (live or recorded video coupled and synchronized with documentation, questions, chaptering, etc.) or IP multipoint videoconference with collaboration work.
